I applied through their job portal. On the same day, I received an email from a recruiter to schedule a pre-screen and to tell me more about the process. It lasted around 5 minutes -- the recruiter didn't seem to want to talk about the company or the role, though they did offer the chance to ask questions.
The first stage was a HackerRank including basic multiple choice questions about data structures and algorithms, as well as 2 coding questions. These were Leetcode-easy questions.
I passed the code challenge and had an hour-long technical phone interview with an engineer. They asked me a combination of Leetcode-easy coding problems and basic system design problems.
A few hours later, I received news that they were moving me to an onsite interview. This is where the horrible experience starts - after receiving the news from the recruiter, I have not heard back since. I've followed up by calling (went to voicemail each time) the recruiter and emailing them over the next , but I received no calls back or replies.
At the time of writing, this all happened a month+ ago and I have not heard back at all as to why I'm being ghosted. Horrible handling of the interview process.
