Turo Senior Software Engineer interview questions

Very typical tech interview :(. I wasn't actually searching for a new role, but after reading some positive reviews about interviews I thought I'd give it a shot since I love the service! I felt judged for slip-ups, and the problems were not real-world type situations. I solved the first question asked in a few minutes, however the interviewer wanted a different approach which dragged out over half the interview. It felt like they were looking off a key card and were thinking "that works, but that's not what I have here". No questions about why I wanted to join the team, I'm guessing they're looking more for college grads. It was only 1 hour which was nice.

The whole process took about 4 weeks from start to finish. The steps were as follows: - Recruiter Phone Screen - Tech Screen by Engineer (API Design) - Virtual On-Site, split up over 2 days
