I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio (New York, NY) in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied online. HR contacted me to schedule a phone interview. That interview went very well, and a few days later I was scheduled for a Zoom video chat interview with the person that this sales position would report to. That interview went very well. My background and experience match very well with the job description.
The next day I received an email from HR that the Zoom call went very well and that they want me to come to NYC to interview with multiple people. I am one of two people being selected to interview in NYC. After stalling me for 3 1/2 weeks they told me that they are choosing another candidate to interview.
After informing me multiple times for 3 1/2 weeks that I am going to the final round of interviews, and then be told they selected another candidate makes me feel played.
Their poor behavior in stringing along candidates probably gives insight to how they treat employees.

Question 1
What is your knowledge of how Twilio might be used?
Thank you for your feedback. We really want everyone to have a good experience with us, and it appears we did not do our job with you. We should have been better in our communication and I will take this example back to the team. We respect the time you took to interview with us and apologize that it was not reflected in your process.

Interview
I went through the classic 5 stages of unreal process.
The interviews are not clearly structured, also managers going on a break in the middle of the interview. Hr disappears at the end of the process.
Having experienced that, do some research on other jobs, even there is shortage of jobs & find a decent tech company with more authentic policy.

We are disappointed to hear you did not have a positive experience with us. We would be frustrated too. We are always trying to improve our candidate experience, and will use this as an example of how we can do better.
