I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Twilio
Interview
Excited to have received an invite to interview for the role. The process to schedule the interview took a week. Provided the hiring manager times/days that worked for me, did not hear back for several days (days provided had passed). Being in TA I know that the soonest you can interview the better. That should also be the goal of the recruiter trying to fill the role. I reached back out to see if there was still interest in me. He let me know the days did not work, provided more days to connect. The last day/time provided was selected. During the interview the HM was disengaged, looking at something on his screen, and missed out on a very funny pun (should have at least cracked a smile) but he was not paying attention. He let me know that I would hear in 2 days. Its been 2 weeks and I have not heard anything. Looking at other reviews for similar roles I can tell the process should be about a week so at this point I know that I am not moving forward. Just disappointed because I had Twilio on a pedestal when it came to talent from what is on their website on vetting all resumes one at a time, the interview guide, I was invited and attended Signal 2021, and I was a referral for the role. I thought they would carry out that same care they had for those items throughout but they did not. Just left very disappointed.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Twilio (Bengaluru) in Feb 2022
Interview
I applied to Twilio via Linkedin and I was reached out by a recruiter a week later. It was via email and I had to select a slot for the first conversation. I loved how they automated the first conversation. Next, I was set up for a hiring manager screen. It was a brief discussion with the hiring manager about the role and my fitment. Post that I was setup for 3 more interviews, Sourcing Round, Talent Partner Round and Bar Raiser. All the interviews happened in the next two days and the interviewers were extremely knowledgeable. They also made me comfortable and were super friendly. I got my feedback on the third day and the loop was closed.
