      Executive Assistant Interview

      Jun 14, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Two Sigma in Apr 2018

      Interview

I was contacted back for a phone interview. The person that screened me had an accent and was a bit difficult to understand. She also made consistent and odd humming like sounds as I spoke which threw me off as I frequently thought she was interjecting a question and Id ask "Im sorry?". Maybe this is some sort of tactic she uses for whatever reason but it was not ideal. I was told Id hear back with an update and never did.

      Interview

Pleasant experience. Overall sounds like a good company, grounded. Follow through very important to keeping lines of communication open. They were responsive , however I had to be the one to follow up.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Two Sigma (New York, NY) in Apr 2018

      Interview

A recruiter set me a up for a 30 minute phone screen which allowed me to review my resume and interests. I was called in for an in person interview where I met 4 people and took a computer test with an employee who verbally tested me on Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. I made it to a second round interview where I met several people in the company including the respective Manager that I will work with. The interview was fun and I enjoyed the conversations about my background and the history of the company. In the end, it's all about the right fit and personalities meshing like jam. Mostly behavorial questions.
