The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Two Sigma (New York, NY) in Mar 2011
Interview
Completely slow. First I was presented with a code test, which I did really well. Afterwards, the HR asked me to go for an on-site interview with two different teams.
When I do the on-site interview, I was greeted with a very nice, professional guy who's asking me standard programming questions, along with problem solving which I did quite well. Afterwards, the second guy came over. He looks like he just came to the office (he's late). He's one of the most snobby, rude interviewers that I've ever had. He asked me to code a class using computer. I told him I normally use internet to look for Java API (who doesn't these days). I think he doesn't like the fact that I wanted to look for an API used for networking/opening file!
The third guy asked me abstract question, he liked me in the end. Soon after he's done, HR told me I'm "done for the day". This second guy is the most unprofessional interviewers I've ever met. I despise two sigma for this reason. You should not make a decision based on some crappy guy's bad morning. I will never come back again.

first interview was 60 minutes long with a leetcode hard question. second interview was 2 back to back 60 minute leetcode hard with emphasis on data structures. each interview had a 5 minute introduction and 10 minute at the end to ask questions
Standard medium difficulty hackerrank. The question involved decoded an encoded string. It was not something I had seen on LeetCode before and I think was unique to the company. The question was not that difficult but I ran out of time right before I could finish answering.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Decode a string encoded using a specific encoding algorithm.
It started of with one phone screen, then if you pass you have 2 back to back technicals, then 3 1 hour behaviorals, hiring committee, and management committee. Standard Leetcode and behavioral questions.
