Interview
I applied to this research analyst position. Then one guy called me and asked me if I know SQL. I said yes, but not very much. Then he asked about my programming skills. Well, I do not have much programming experience. The job that I am applying for is research analyst! Then he told me that it was a mistake of their recruiter. The job that he was interviewing for was a programmer position!

Interview
I had heard of the company and found them online. I emailed in my resume and heard back from HR with a phone interview. I spoke to a quant there, who asked about my experience and also asked technical questions, mostly statistics and algorithms. I then got a second phone interview, which was similar.

Interview
I got an phone interview by the project manager. The whole interview took about 45 minutes. At first a few questions were asked about my background. Then followed by a few more specific technical questions. The whole interview was conducted in a very polite manner. Technical questions targeted mainly on java programming langugages. I was asked the differences about exceptions and run-time errors, how would I handle an exception in a given scenario.
