Two Sigma Senior Developer interview questions

Complete waste of time. Was contacted by a headhunter followed by a hackerrank test with two difficult level questions. After clearing that a recruiter calls me for background screening and wastes 30 mins asking questions on my resume. I had an online codepair with a member of the team who asked me to a question which I managed to solve, compile and run with precise output covering all test cases within the specified time. The interviewer agreed to the solution and appreciated my approach. Few days later i get a response back saying i am not selected without any real feedback or reason. To anyone applying to this company be ready to be rejected.

This review focuses mainly on the phone and technical interview. The phone interview went well. The JR person explained the company and what it does very clearly and concisely. The atmosphere was relaxed, but I remained guarded as to not say too much. The next portion of the interviewing process was the technical. The technical interview starts with a coding challenge. The coding challenge is done using Interview Street website. There are two coding problems to solve and two hours to do it in. There are some samples out there to get a feeling for the tests. I thought that the tests were a little heavy in use of container classes like STL to solve the problem.
