I applied in-person. I interviewed at U-GRO Learning Centres
Interview
you can submit your resume online but it took several calls to see if it was received and if they were still hiring (they were and always are- RED FLAG). I had an interview and a follow up second interview. the job you interview for isn't always the place where you are placed within the company.
an orientation video series has to be watched as well as clearances and a physical before you are on the job but it doesn't always happen. clearances can be pending which doesn't sound right when you are working with children.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
most questions are standard but they have a personality test which has no bearing on the job at all. It is not even an ethical personality test. its a questionnaire about religious leaders, law enforcement, and aspirations which are not child related.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at U-GRO Learning Centres
Interview
They sent me an email regarding scheduling a phone interview. We set up a day and time (which I confirmed with them more than once and rearranged my schedule for). The woman did not call me or even bother to talk to me when I tried to call her. She hung up on me the first time and never returned my call when I left a message. It was absolutely ridiculous. Do not waste a candidates time like that.
