I applied online. I interviewed at U.S. Bank in Mar 2019
Interview
I applied online and had a phone interview a couple days later. She asked about five S.T.A.R. based questions but never seemed happy with my answers. She kept trying to reach for something that's just not there. One silly question was "Give me an example on how you multitask." Pretty straightforward... I provided examples but she kept trying to press for more. How much more in depth can you go for multiasking lol? She then went over the schedule and the days that would be off. No consecutive days off which is a no deal for me. I don't need weekends off but I need to have 2 days off in a row, as should everyone who works. Too much burn out and exhaustion when it's work work work 1 day off work work work 1 day off. That, to me, shows that they don't value their employees. Low wage too, $15/hr. She set me up with an in-person interview but I am going to pass. I only applied to get some banking experience but I'll look elsewhere.
I applied online. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2026
Interview
They did not get back to me, they ghosted me and then sent me emails to rate the experience. I felt ignored after reaching out to the HR and no reply still.
Was over phone had about 6-8 basic interview question. Interview was thorough and had a lot of fun in interview. Was easy going and gave me time with responses. I was also asked if I had question amor anything to add I did ask questions and she appreciated that. Interviewee also gave me more information about postion and picking what time shift I would want if I got the job.
The interview process at US Bank was very straight forward. One thing I would recommend is using the STAR method. Makes the interview process go by smother and you will use the STAR method on the job if you accept a position.
