      Anonymous employee
      Las Vegas, NV
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at UBS (Las Vegas, NV) in Dec 2015

      Interview

I first had a phone interview. The questions were mostly to test my disposition and attitude. After a week they called me in for an interview in person with the current analyst, the regional and office chief. The questions were also mostly regarding my past experience, disposition, work philosophy and attitude. The technical knowledge is acquired inside UBS. The job is basically to learn how to use their proprietary system efficiently to put together plans for the financial advisers.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at UBS (Bellevue, WA) in Jul 2017

      Interview

About two - three weeks after I submitted my application online, I received an email scheduling an interview in the same week. I had an interview with the assistant market head. Learnt that after the 2 years training program is over, you will have to start from ground 0 and find your own sales and money to manage to survive. I was asked if it sounds like fun to me that if I have to keep in mind that I need to get sales from every walk of life I come across. My answer to him was no and we had a mutual understanding that I was not interested in the job anymore.

      Application

      Interview

After I submitted the application, I was asked to do a survey. Survey asked why I wanted the role, what I'd bring to the question, locations I preferred, etc. Then, had a follow-up call with an executive director and was later brought in to Superday. It's been more than 3 weeks and I haven't heard a word. Clearly, I didn't get it, but closing the loop would be nice.
