You apply to grad school like you would at any other college except this time you need to specifically solicit research professors in the department you'd like to work with. I corresponded via email until they invited me to visit the campus to meet with professors in person.

Well organized recruitment weekend. Had opportunity to meet our recruits and faculty in informal settings. Also interviewed directly with several potential advisors during one of the days. On other days, there were the informal events and mixers
