I applied through college or university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UCLA (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
Statement of purpose, standardized exams, GRE, TOEFL scores, transcripts, strong academic profile, recommendation letters from faculty members, past research experience is a plus, no on-site or phone interviews, teaching experience is preferred for scientific positions. Definitely make sure to have open house campus visits and talk to the fellow graduate students to have a better idea on what to expect for the first few years
There was no interview required or requested for the graduate school program at this school. An application was all that was required. The application consists of a personal statement, GRE (optional), transcripts, and a fee.
They asked about a variety of stuff. Like what’s you previous research experience and how would you tackle different problems. I really liked it as the interviewers are very friendly
Applied through their application. Got an interview about a month later. It was a zoom interview with the director of the department and an associate that I would be working under.
