Bottom Line: If your goal is to work for Kronos or are very excited about a specific role with them, then the price you need to pay is a long and possibly frustrating process. If you're open to a variety of companies or roles, I would recommend pursuing opportunities with firms that adopt more realistic hiring models.
Kronos has built a large presence in the workforce management world and it has won a number of employment accolades, so I imagine they feel that their recruitment process works well for them. It may, however, not work well for you.
The process was very inefficient. For a relatively low level position, it required a lengthy HR screen and personality test, phone screen with the hiring manager, skills assessment, phone screen with other team members, in person with the immediate team and hiring manager, in person with very senior staff and hiring manager.
Almost every other comparable company interviewing for similar roles simply has a phone screen with the hiring manager and then an in person with the decision makers (maybe with a brief phone screen with HR).
I never got a clear answer as to why I was not successful, but it seemed to have something to do with "fit". A more traditional interview process could have made such an evaluation with far fewer steps. A process this convoluted should have been designed to catch this earlier on rather than spending months to come to this conclusion.
You may ultimately have more success, but it will cost you months of time and potentially passing up other opportunities where hiring decisions are made in a more timely fashion.
Ironically, timing aside, HR/recruiting was the most professional I have every experienced.
