Interview
Attended US Air Force Academy. That was a rigorous process for entry--had to interview with Senator's staff, required very strong academic, athletic, and leadership performance in high school. Once accepted, the four year program was extremely rigorous--concentrated in engineering no matter what the final degree is. Also, lots of leadership and military history taught.
