I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Army (Arlington, VA) in Jul 2016
Interview
As a hiring authority in my previous job, I was familiar with potential questions the panel would ask. I prepared and felt confident when I provided my responses. I could tell by the panel's body language and demeanor that my responses were resonating with them. At the end of the interview, I received encouraging few back that they will be in touch.
Board interview, 3 people on the board and they asked 3-5 questions each. All were very easy, mostly personal not a lot of technical questions. Tell me about yourself, your leadership style, tell me about a time you were a supervisor and had to implement new rules, or tell me about a time you had a conflict with your supervisor
No Interview required. You will be selected for a specific job in which you are qualified for. Then you will be involved in on the job training and obtain experience and skills over a period of time.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Dallas, TX) in Jan 2022
Interview
Very easy despite the new hiring portal that they just recently moved to. Also the Army doesn't really have a true "interview process" it is kind of needs of the Army.
