If you are willing to sign away years of your life, and have a clean record, you're in. I joined in 2006 when if you had a pulse and were willing to sign away your life you were in, so I guess it's getting harder...

Question 1
You just take a test to determine your aptitude, then they give you a list of jobs you qualify for.
Just go to your local recruiter and take the ASVAB. After completing OSUT, you'll become an infantryman (11B). You'll be assigned your unit upon graduating. Make sure to stay in good physical shape.
You express interest and they call you. You will have to answer some basic questions about yourself and take a placement test. Then you will be sent to a medical processing facility to do a medical exam.
