      Linguist Interview

      Nov 6, 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at US Army in Jul 2009

      Interview

It was pretty straight forward, you take the tests and make good scores, you get a good job. Do not let the recruiters promise you things they can't lock in for sure. It is a lengthy process, so be patient.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. I interviewed at US Army (Charlotte, NC) in Jun 2013

      Interview

Came into the recruiting office, was immediately greeted by a sergeant with a very warm welcome and showed interest in what I was looking for and what my concerns were. Interview was informal but professional. Interview was more of an assessment of character and potential. The whole process involves drug testing, vocational aptitude, physical assessments.
