I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
You will either get in touch with a recruiter or they will find you. The main questions will be about your commitment to joining the Army and whether or not you have anything wrong with you (i.e. law violations, drug use, medical problems, etc.). After this you have to take the ASVAB and receive a passing score. Each job is different and requires different scores. Some jobs might also require that you have additional schooling like certain math or science classes. Once you qualify for the job you will go down and take a physical examination (much like a sports physical) and then you will enlist under your job for a certain amount of time. Contracts can vary between 3-6 years depending on the job.
