Interview
The interview process to get into the Naval Academy can be long and complicated. You will need to interview with a congressman in order to obtain a nomination, and also complete various forms from teachers, counselors, coaches, and employers.
I applied through other source. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Navy
Interview
The process is pretty standardized. SAT and ACT scores are a big component of acceptance. In addition, you must be physically fit and pass a medical examination. I highly advise you apply for NROTC scholarships in the spring of your Jr. year in high school. In addition, I would recommend applying for the school of your choice in the spring also. I applied in-person. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at US Navy (Houston, TX) in Sep 2011
Interview
One-on-one interview with school recruiter where questions about program, career goals, and past achievements were discussed. Later needed to secure a congressional nomination which required a panel interview from staffers of local U.S. Congressional and Senate offices. Received notification of acceptance about three months after my panel interview.
