I applied in-person. The process took 11 months. I interviewed at US Navy (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
There wasn't a real interview process. However, you have to work with a recruiter, who might lie to you and take an assessment test. If you decide to join, you go to the closet MEPS center and get a physical, walk like a duck, take a drug exam, and raise your right hand.
Quick and easy. Very little effort and they were ready to sign the papers within the hour. The testing portion was the only difficult part. Quick and easy. Very little effort and they were ready to sign the papers within the hour. The testing portion was the only difficult part.
The interview process required to join the united states navy is a complex, complicated, and paper work filled haze. There is the ASVAB test, and quite a few other pre qualifications. See your local recruiter.
