      Midshipman NROTC Candidate Interview

      Jan 2, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at US Navy

      Interview

It was a 30 minute interview where we talked about my leadership experience. It's more of a vibe check than an actual interview, so it pays off to act a certain way.

      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at US Navy (Washington, DC) in Jun 2011

      Interview

Walk through your transcripts and desire to be a Naval Officer. They want to know the reason why you want to serve and if you have the capability to lead men and women. They offer more points for your package if you indicate that you would like to pursue engineering, mathematics, and sciences, but those choices are in no way binding to your actual college choices.
