I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service in Feb 2016
Interview
Hiring process was extremely long. First applied online. Heard back about 1wk later to complete a 2 part personality/situational questionaire. If you pass the 1st part, you get access to the 2nd part. About 1wk later I was asked to go for a computerized test at a testing facility. You get results emailed to you immediately(or at least by the time I checked 30min later) on if you got a passing grade (above 70). I passed, so about 1wk later I was asked for consent on criminal background investigation & to provide info on previous addresses & all state licenses held. Had to sign consents to background & drug tests. About 5 days later I got my request to go for a drug test. Around 5 days after that I was emailed my request for interview. They tell you date, time & place, with about 4 days notice. They emailed 15 of us. Only 8 showed up to the "information sharing & initial interview". They do a general review "It's hot. It's cold. It's dirty. Hours vary." One person left. Then they take each person individually for an "interview". Seems to me if you make it to this point, you're in... Next step is a 3 day driver's training, which they say they will email info of when and where this will be. Again, in about a week from now, but they're not specific.
And this has been my hiring process so far!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Not really interview questions, more a review of the job duties. Can you report to more than one supervisor? Can you work in the elements? Is your schedule flexible? Can you be on be on call?
I interviewed at US Postal Service (Green Bay, WI)
Interview
Take a month to get an interview but keep an eye on your email. You will have to accept their email. After that you will be taking a online test then you need to do a background and drug test.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Cincinnati, OH) in Mar 2023
Interview
Long and drawn out. It took weeks and a test to even be considered which is excessive in my opinion. It could be shorter. The test took over an hour alone.
Not hard, basically stuff you have to fill out the paper work and questions wait anywhere between 1 to 2 weeks to hear from than another 2 to 4 weeks to be hired.
