I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at USA TODAY Co. (New York, NY) in Jun 2011
Interview
It was quick and to the point. I sat down with a rep for about a half hour to get a feel for the job. Then the director came and grabbed me, called me the wrong name and then didn't introduce themselves in the beginning until sitting down in the office.
Apply online and they call or email you to set up in-person interview with a supervisor. Although I asked questions to learn about the company (how they treat employees, the culture, communication with employees), the supervisor was not honest because I later learned when employees learned about alot of changes that were coming, they requested a meeting. At that meeting, HR was called in at some point to shut it down. I asked HR to learn more details about what happened, and they told me it had nothing to do with my employment. I beg to differ. Had I known then what I know now, I never would have agreed to work for them. After the interview, if you accept, there's a drug test.

Typical one-on-one questions you find easily on the internet. It's not difficult, believe me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at USA TODAY Co. (Indianapolis, IN) in Feb 2015
Interview
Was an excellent hiring fair. There were three separate interviews over the course of about two hours. Food and drinks were provided. The staff were friendly and continually asked us if we had any questions for them or about the company. Overall, it was an excellent interview process.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at USA TODAY Co. in Feb 2014
Interview
The first step was a phone interview with recruiter. During that call she scheduled another phone interview with a team leader. I was asked questions like " how do you keep a client if they have found a cheaper vendor". Once that was over I was told recruiter would contact me. A day later I was asked to come in for a face to face interview. During that interview I spoke with the VP , sat in on a day in the life of an ISR then I was interviewed by two team leaders. Over all not bad but it was a little extensive
