The interview was held in the computer science department's main office. I met with Professor, who teaches the course. The office was a bit cluttered but welcoming, with bookshelves overflowing with programming texts and a whiteboard covered in code snippets.
The Interview:
Professor started by asking me about my background in Python and my experience with programming in general. We discussed a few specific projects I had worked on, and I explained how I approached problem-solving and debugging.
Then, she shifted to questions about my teaching style and philosophy. I described my belief in active learning and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. I also shared some examples of how I've helped others learn programming concepts in the past.
