Really no interview process and no personal relationship with potential driver applicant. I was extremely interested and found that the company ask you to provide information over the Internet which I reluctantly did. Information such as my social security number, driver's license number but yet when I ask for local reference of income they cannot provide it. So when the company advertises drivers earn 14.00 to 18.00 per hour are they talking about in big metropolitan areas or even smaller towns. When I ask for someone to provide more feedback I get yet another email asking me for my email address which they clearly have. Then when I provide it I get yet another email asking me to provide my phone number My concern is this...By the Meer fact that I gave them my SS # & Driver License # why would they tell me they cannot find me in their system. I know Uber is young but my advice to the management is to abolish their disregard for potential contractors. They need to be mindful of what brings in the income and keeps the customer's comming back. Otherwise they will fall to the wayside as many young companies do. I have still not decided if I want to partner with a company that has so little respect for their so called partners or contractor's by the meer fact that they will not speak to them over the phone.
