I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Uber (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Oct 2014
Interview
I was referred by a friend of mine and was then contacted by an HR representative. The whole process took about 5 months - feedback time was long and process was quite disorganized. I don't think it's necessary/professional to ask potential candidates to complete an entire business plan/proposal as the 1st round of interview. The whole process left me feeling bitter because they made me wait for a long time and offered little clarity on whether or not I had received the position.
After accepting another offer (because I was tired of waiting), HR contacts me to complete last round of interview but I rejected.
