Applied through Hays and interview was scheduled a few days later. Two hours before my interview, I was notified that my interview had to be postponed because the hiring manager had a meeting. This put me off but after going back and forth, it was eventually rescheduled for the following morning. Arrived at the Uber office, and had to stand outside for about 10 minutes as there was no one at the reception even after ringing the entrance bell several times. Eventually had to grab the attention of an employee who was walking past to let me in. Waited another 10 minutes for the interviewing manager to show up, who seemed to take an immediate disliking to me from the minute I said hello and introduced myself. During the interview she was very dismissive and completely uninterested in any answer I gave to the questions asked. It seemed as though she was forced to ask a list of questions which she was not interested in. There was no interaction even when I asked questions at the end and thankfully after 30 minutes the interview ended. From other reviews I have read, it appears there is a general problem with their interview process and it should really be improved. Perhaps HR should conduct the interviews if the managers are not genuinely interested in interviewing
