The interview process for this internship position was one step - resume, phone screen interview, and a call with a recruiter to talk about my relocation. I did a phone screen with two uber product designers back to back for over an hour.
The interview process typically includes an initial screening call, followed by a portfolio review to discuss past work and design thinking. The final stage consists of multiple 1:1 interviews and a collaborative whiteboard or problem-solving exercise.

The first step is recruiter call, then portfolio walkthrough with VP of design and another designer on the team, lastly a panel interview with cross-functional partners like PM and engineering. Because it was a mid level position so it only had 3 rounds

Interview
The interview went smoothly and felt good overall. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it through the first round. However, I haven’t received any feedback, even after reaching out personally—especially disappointing since the interview experience itself was quite positive.
