I found the entire interview experience to be somewhat negative. I was asked to complete several tests, including tests completely unrelated to the position being applied for and then took a day off work for an interview during which I did not even get to meet the hiring manager, only the HR recruiter... this is typically handled during phone screens and after no follow-up, I felt this was a complete waste of my time and actually a bit disrespectful.

Question 1
Since I did not interview with an actual member of the hiring department, the questions were all mostly general in nature.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Uline (Allentown, PA)
Interview
Applied online - Recieved a call a few weeks later, then onsite interview to meet with HR and complete aptitude tests. The process wasnt overly difficult, but the company is seriously behind the times. The HR Guy told me that the owner looks at all applications and prefers applications that are handwritten. There is a reason why this position has been open for over a year - for a role that shouldn't be terribly hard to fill.

Interview
I think this company does a lot of trolling. I see ads placed constantly for the same or similar positions; for sure they are a large employer but my experience was they wasted my time. I was asked to complete a number of tests both online and onsite and then only met with a recruiter and not the hiring manager. I'm more than happy to take tests but maybe after at least a good phone interview. The onsite interview I had could have easily been conducted via phone and followed up by a more detailed one onsite, ideally with the hiring manager.

Other than a detailed discussion of my experience and the position, I don't recall anything out of the ordinary.
