I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Clifton, NJ) in Jan 2023
Interview
The first interview I had was with the hiring manager. I had a surprise assessment which was entirely in python and was asked to debug the code. The interview lasted about 30 minutes and also included basic questions about myself. I was set up for a second interview with 2 people which lasted 45 minutes. I was grilled on many machine learning concepts and on the projects I have done. The interviewers were extremely rude and I felt that they were almost trying to trip me up with the number of rapid-fire questions they were asking. I still did pretty well but never received an offer and I was ghosted by both the hiring manager and HR person after the second interview. For those wondering, they stated the total compensation was 75-80k, possibly 90k.

Approximately one hour technical interview, ask very detailed questions about the machine learning and data science concepts. Some questions are good tests of the knowledge, but some are over-detailed. But interviewers are very unprofessional and rude, very poor experience.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever in Jun 2023
Interview
One phone screen with the recruiter which was very short (5 min) and focused solely on salary expectations. Be prepared for this because I was not and ended up disclosing more information about previously salary than I should have. Following that were two rounds of behavioral based interviews. No technical assessment. The interviews were each one hour and felt very conversational; I enjoyed this part of the process.
