I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
The first part of the interview you will sit amongst a group of people. There will be about five or six supervisors/leads from different stations to describe their tenure with United. After that's all squared away you will be given a number and when your number is called you will sit one-on-one with one of those supervisors/leads for the interview. The questions aren't hard; it's just basic questions asking what you would or have done in a specific situation. Just be yourself and they will like you; and if they do, you will be brought into a room where another person will give you a packet saying "congratulations" and start your background check. After that, you will be given instruction on where and when you will be set up for your clearances.
