I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at United Airlines (Houston, TX) in Mar 2023
Interview
Indifferent. They will put you into a testing room expecting you to know as much basic as possible but I didn’t make it past all of them. This interview system of theirs is geared to people who already have general mechanical experience in the mechanical/maintenance field. Unfortunately I don’t fall in that category which is why I didn’t make it past the testing phase. I did excel in the conversational interview. They asked questions and eased my nerves. If you don’t make it past all interviews, you’re eliminated like an American Idol competition. Gotta get two birds or no birds. If you don’t pass you got a lengthy by-day waiting period ahead of you. If you apply to United Airlines as a mechanic, better know some stuff before you go in their.
