I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines in Sep 2015
Interview
Online Application> Hirevue Virtual Interview> Face to Face.. The F2F interview was definitely one of the more relaxed interviews I had done. It was straight to the point & professional. Starts out with a presentation on the company & more details on the position itself. Then, a recruiter, who is a current flight attendant, will call you back for your 1:1 interview. The good thing about being interviewed by another flight attendant is that they know the kind of people they want to work with. Tell them why you're the best potential coworker! I'm a firm believer that "studying" questions beforehand make you sound rehearsed & keeps you from being yourself. Therefore, I didn't read what was asked before going to the interview. I just answered the questions as they came & pulled from DIFFERENT experiences not just my current job as a flight attendant. Afterward, I was offered a job once I spoke with 2 other flight attendants. Dress in what makes you feel confident! Don't study these reviews telling you what exactly to wear. It's business attire & that's all you need to focus on! United is conservative so keep that in mind also. I wore a black dress, black tights & black heels wth a black blazer. I have a bob so I kept my hair down. Just be yourself! Tell them why you're the best addition to the flyer friendly brand!
