I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Nov 2015
Interview
I was impressed at how quickly it went about two weeks total. United is very efficient in their hiring process. Applied online, did hireview interview then f2f. Flew to Newark, stayed the night and interviewed the next morning. Waited a long time at the airport until we were brought to another part of the terminal for the interview session about 20 of us. We watched a video and listened as one of the FAs gave a speech answered questions we had. They informed us that we had to sit on reserve for 20 days out of the month! I have a a family and being on reserve 20 days is impossible. So think about if you are really willing to relocate.
