A recruiter reached out to me about this role. The recruiter was extremely pushy and sent me LinkedIn messages, emails, phone calls, texts and voicemails about moving through the process for this role. Eventually, I meet the hiring manager. During the interview they seemed like they didn't want to be there, but they passed me to the next round. A few days later I had a final round presentation and was told the team would follow up with a decision. The decision never came, despite me following up with the recruiter multiple times. I was told that the hiring manager was on PTO, then the recruiter's director told me the recruiter was on PTO. Meanwhile, I'm being approached by other staffing agencies for the exact same role and they're telling me the hiring manager went back to square one. All without notifying me. The experience was extremely unprofessional and I cannot recommend the UX team at United as a good place to work due to the lack of professionalism in their hiring process. The professional thing to do would be to notify a final round candidate of a no hire decision instead of ghosting them.
