The first interview was with a staffing company in Chicago that they flew me out for. They were running late so there were 10 people waiting a space for four. The interview was very basic, customer skills questions. I also feel if you dress the part and have an out going personality you will make it to the next stage. I was flown out to Chicago again for a interview with United at HQ. You have a quick group activity with HR watching. i put my two cents into the conversation but did not push the issue. You cant stay quite and you cant be too talkative. You wait again, with other candidates. The next step is the one on one with United HR. Again basic scenario questions pertaining to customer service. If they like you, they check to see how you did on the group dynamic phase. If that went well you got the job. The one that did not get the jobs were sent home, literally home, to the airport they went. If you got an offer, they want to fingerprint you, give a physical, drug test and as much paper work as they can. good luck and remember dress the part!!!
