My friend referred my application for data scientist position.
*Overall Process took 2.5 months*
First round was technical interview round where they checked how much technical sound we are, I cleared that round.
After one week they called me again for technical coding round consisting of 4 questions, hopefully I cleared that round as well.
Then the twist comes, I waited for atleast 2-3 weeks and they didn't even told me whether I have been shortlisted for next round or not,
But finally I got a call from manager, he asked me about my previous experience, cleared that round as well.
Now, after a long wait of more than 1 month, they came up with another interview round with different manager.
He told me that it will be just an interaction round, asked my previous experience and couple of technical questions.
The experience with UHG during the interview process is really bad and mentally drainage if you are really looking out for change.
Why the experience is bad, because generally companies tell the candidate that you have been shortlisted or rejected in one week time or two week time, but here, I was keep on asking with them every week whether they are proceeding with my application or not, and I received only one answer that someone will reach out to you shortly.
I believe companies should understand the value of time of candidates as well, its really tough and mentally drainage process if you are not communicating properly with the candidate.
Atlast, they finally rejected me after 4 rounds and 2.5 months time period.
