Overall the interview process was very pleasant from the first get go through the end.
Here especially big appreciation to the HR side , which was super professional , friendly and acted on a timely manner.
I found the Job posting through LinkedIn and applied for it in summer, after about three months I got an e-mail in which they stated their interest in me.
I had several calls and one onside interview. The first call was from HR which was a general check about myself and salary exceptions.
The next calls were about to meet with the rest of the team and get a better understanding about each other.
I got introduced to the role in general, like what the role is about in details and how a typical work week would look like. Also from the get go, we spoke about technical expertises and challenges, which both sides had and how they solve them.
I really enjoyed the discussions and realized how into the unity guys are into their profession.
One call was explicit about to get grilled on the technical side, I really enjoyed this and they grilled me quite good ;)
The final interview was onside where we had a good conversation.
At the end I got an offer but had to decline because of different salary expectations.
After the great process it was hard for me to decline but I had to.
But nevertheless I can only emphasise this again, it was one of the best recruiting experiences I ever had and can recommend to apply for a job at Unity.
