I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unum in Mar 2022
Interview
I applied to Unum in March 2022 and received an assessment a few days later. The assessment consisted of personality test (agree/disagree questions), computer literacy test consisted of 3 simulations, multiple choice test based off info provided, and then a video section where they ask 5 questions and give 3 tries to answer each question with a 2 minute prep window before recording. A day after completing the assessment I received an email requesting to schedule a phone interview where I selected a date and time. My phone interview was with a recruiter. It lasted about 20-30 minutes. She asked me what my understanding is of the role. She then gave pertinent job and training info. Also went over employment history and reasons for leaving. Lastly she asked about a time when I had to deal with a difficult customer. After that she offered a video interview to be scheduled with managers. I chose a date and time. The video interview was with 2 people. It lasted about 45 minutes. They went over job description and training dates and times as well as potential start date. They asked behavior types of questions that required STAR format answers. At the end of the interview, she offered me the position.

Good interview process, that seemed pretty fair. Opportunity to show skills in various capacities, with the spoken and the test components. There was also video recorded interview before testing then meeting live.
First interview is recorded. You have about one week to complete-you can start the processes at anytime which will be some written Q&A with videos to get to know the company, and then your own recorded responses to questions. Your recorded portion is timed and you get three takes.
If you move on, a company recruiter will do a phone interview, ensuring you understand the role and answer questions further about your experience.
If you move on from there, you will have a live virtual interview. Questions are mostly behavioral based. There is about 10 minutes section where you are asked some questions about a client case.
