Interview
I was reached out to by recruitment who felt I would be a candidate for the role. I applied, and completed the required skill test and and virtual interview. I received a response that Unum would be going with other candidates. I’ve applied with Unum 8 times…and each time I was never considered. I’m not sure what Unum’s hiring practices are, but If I qualify to apply, you would assume I qualify for a role unless there are “other “ factors that play into this. I’ve also been told there are some employees that will sit in your panel interview, that could make you feel as though they aren’t even going to consider you based on attitudes and body language in the interview. This is worth looking more into, and they are passing up good candidates with their hiring practices

Question 1
Just basic STAR questions. The first interview is virtual, nothing personal about it. Can be somewhat intimidating if you are nervous.
Good interview process, that seemed pretty fair. Opportunity to show skills in various capacities, with the spoken and the test components. There was also video recorded interview before testing then meeting live.
First interview is recorded. You have about one week to complete-you can start the processes at anytime which will be some written Q&A with videos to get to know the company, and then your own recorded responses to questions. Your recorded portion is timed and you get three takes.
If you move on, a company recruiter will do a phone interview, ensuring you understand the role and answer questions further about your experience.
If you move on from there, you will have a live virtual interview. Questions are mostly behavioral based. There is about 10 minutes section where you are asked some questions about a client case.

Describe a time you deescalated an unhappy customer.
Very long process I did my video interview and assement first. Then after that I waited about a month. A month later they called me to do another interview and let me know about the position. Now I have to do another panel interview with the manager and a conworker
