VCA Client Service Representative interview questions

I had an initial interview with an upper level manager and then came back for two additional days of "working interviews" in which I essentially just shadowed the current employees. Coming from the Midwest, I had never experienced a "working" interview before. I guess it was just a way for other employees to get a feel for your personality and if you'll work well with the current team. The interview questions were pretty weird, considering the position is just a receptionist/front desk job. I think it would've been more appropriate to assess how an applicant handles stress/ensure they complete jobs/multitask/etc.

I filled out an application the day the job was posted. I went in the following day with a resume and to introduce myself in person. The hiring manager asked me a few questions regarding my availability and told me to expect a phone call soon for a formal interview. A week passed and I didn't receive a call, so I called them. It was the weekend, so the hiring manager was not in. The lady who answered the phone took my name and number, but also told me to try again on Monday. Monday came and I called during the hiring managers lunch break. The lady again took my name and number and told me she would inform her that I had called. That was almost a week and a half ago. It's been a total of 3 weeks since I went in person. This says a lot about the company.
