I interviewed at Vaimo (Helsinki, Southern Finland)
Interview
Interviewed with part of the team in the room and the rest online. Interview questions were fairly trivial things about project management which would have allowed an unqualified candidate to easily avoid providing any actual answer. I got the feeling that most of the people hadn't really had a lot of practice in interviewing anyone. The salary range was not disclosed in initial screening and turned out to be about 40% of my existing salary, well below industry average for the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Should you tell the customer if your project is going to be late (or something similarly worded)
Bahaviroal style questions where I tell them about different projects I've lead, how do I manage multiple projects at the same time, why Vaimo, and then they asked me if I had general questions about the company and culture.
After that, there is a case interview for round 2, and I believe a culture fit interview
It was informal. Two men conducted the interview for approximately 30mins. After which they gave the impression that I basically landed the job and then I did no even get an offer. Very misleading.
