I applied for the College to Corporate Internship - Advice for the summer of 2020 in Charlotte, NC. The experience was pretty good. I applied in late June, then heard back in late August. I had a phone screen with HR first, then during that call was invited to go up to Charlotte for a whole day of interviewing. The schedule was packed so it definitely was a full day. Some things were sort of fillers, like taking a tour with current people in the finance advisor development program, and general networking with those around you. The meat of the day were the interviews, mainly general STAR behavioral questions, and the mock appointment. Essentially they give you a sheet with info on an average client and you pretend to perform their first analysis meeting with them. Also, at the very end of the day they show a video and you discuss it with everyone in the room with you. There were roughly 13 people there if I remember correctly. A lot were applying for the full time position and about 5 for the internship. They do three days of that with different people at each of the locations and take 3 people per location. Overall, if anything it was a good experience for a day full of interviewing.
