I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Malvern, PA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I converted from a contractor to a full-time crew member so the process was a bit different from a complete external hire. No phone interview, just one interview with two mangers in the department(Retail Client Account Services). With that being said, it is still a somewhat difficult interview mostly consisting of STAR based questions. They want to see your process for thinking through situations and how you handle them, and the outcome. If you cannot get these points across, you more than likely will not get the job. They want to know your people skills, not so much experience, though both are important.

Question 1
Tell me a time about when you had to motivate others when they did not feel like working to complete a task.
In person interview involved a series of questions. It is best to be prepared at the interview like carry a notebook. It would be best to practice the interview and be prepared and friendly.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Phoenix, AZ)
Interview
Overall it was a standard interview. First you have to do a phone call interview and if they like your answers you go to the company in person. Once you are there they give you quick tour, give you a case study, and lastly a behavioral interview.

Received an email within twenty four hours about a phone interview. I was able to choose from my top three choices of preferred times because their main office uses east coast time.
