I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Vanguard (Malvern, PA) in Nov 2016
Interview
I applied online through my university's career site. I then received an email for a phone interview. The phone interview was around 45 minutes long, with basic interview questions such as "why are you interested in Vanguard" and "what makes you a good fit for this job?". After the interview ended, I was extended an invitation to a super day. This super day consisted of various presentations on the company, a team activity, 2 rounds of one on one interviews, and a roundtable discussion. The one on one interviews consisted of basic STAR questions, as well as several questions specific to my resume.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vanguard (Dallas, TX) in Oct 2022
Interview
Mostly behavioral interview questions with along with a roll play exercise. There were a few technical questions regarding how the equity and debt markets work, but if you have take an entry level finance class then it should be pretty basic
Passed Coding exam, took Behavioral interview, then got completely ghosted. I would at least expect a rejection from someone who took the time to interview me, but I guess their HR needs some work
