Interview process was Ok, but it's the offer that was messed up. Vanguard doesn't want to hire best employees and pay them fair salary. Instead they're interested in the cheapest candidate. They won't hesitate to retract their low ball offer and give it to someone else who will take it. If you're a quality candidate who knows their worth don't waste your time with Vanguard, because they will waste yours I guarantee it.

Question 1
Conversational type of questions regarding your experience.
I applied online. I interviewed at Vanguard (Harrisburg, PA)
Interview
The interview process for me was a phone screen and another virtual interview with the hiring team manager. The phone screen was basic information about the job and the virtual interview was more in-depth about the job itself.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you needed to exhibit leadership skills.
Seamless process with very kind people. They made it easy to talk about my experience prior and answered all of my questions honestly. They went by fairly quickly but it felt more like a conversation than an interview.

Question 1
How, in the past, have you handled building rapport with a client or customer?
Interview process included a recruiter call, a call with the team manager, then a call with the team manager and other team members, as well as a writing test. Overall, very standard experience for this type of job. However, the process felt a bit long; it took a couple of months from start to finish without an offer.
