I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (New York, NY) in Jul 2014
Interview
1: phone interview lasting about 15 minutes. was asked general info (education, tutoring experience, what subjects i want to tutor, etc.)
2: scheduled "skype" interview the next day. the interviewer was incredibly kind and understanding. she asked harder math questions so we could bypass the elementary math courses. we talked in between questions about tutoring experiences and how i would handle different situations. really enjoyed this interview

Question 1
If a student is bringing you homework every day and not doing it because he/she realizes you will do it for him/her, how would you handle the situation?
You are sent a link to an online video interview. They ask you about previous tutoring experience and the last question was asking you to do a mock-tutoring session. It's very awkward because you have to make up what you want to teach on the spot, but you get unlimited time to think of responses.

Interview
AI Interview, very easy. Asked very basic question's regarding experience, motivation, etc. I’m a freshman student in UMD and so I haven’t been to many job interviews, but this was genuinely easy.
