I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors in Oct 2015
Interview
A young women lead the interview curtly, asking questions answered not only in my resume but repeat questions of the pre-interview questionaire! Then, she grilled me with questions about each of the areas I had signed up to tutor for more than an hour despite only asking for twenty minutes of my time. The next interview was scheduled to be an hour and I just cut the process short. "The highest we pay qualified tutors in your area is $15-$20 an hour. No thanks.
You are sent a link to an online video interview. They ask you about previous tutoring experience and the last question was asking you to do a mock-tutoring session. It's very awkward because you have to make up what you want to teach on the spot, but you get unlimited time to think of responses.

Interview
AI Interview, very easy. Asked very basic question's regarding experience, motivation, etc. I’m a freshman student in UMD and so I haven’t been to many job interviews, but this was genuinely easy.
