Veeam Software Devops Engineer interview questions

Company desperation is very visible (for example, I had to reschedule twice, and they didn't mention it; later they said feedback will be by end of week yet next day they sent email and followed with phone calls when I didn't get back immediately). The recruitment process was based on a lie that I'd be joining two other DevOps engineers in a (single) QA team (as new DevOps, not a replacement). It turned out that it'd be for three teams with different managers at the same time and there are no DevOps engineers in QA at all (just QAs filling in for DevOps)... I believe that if I hadn't asked, I'd learn about it on the first few weeks of work. Technical questions were based around VMware, Windows, Jenkins and Ansible. I was upfront about my lack of direct experience with some technologies, but my pure deduction was enough to impress technical interviewers - even if you are a genius, seeing interviewers being amazed by general knowledge paired with intelligence is a red flag. I cut the interview process short after learning they lied to me. My suspicions came from similar working experience in the past. Maybe on other positions it's not that bad, but I was never presented how it's like to work in Veeam in general (other than generic stuff) - it was always about this specific position. Fun fact: now they are 100% remote in Poland, but they didn't hide the fact that last year when they opened office in Warsaw they didn't offer remote work, but couldn't find anyone to work on such terms.

Interview took multiple rounds. First rounds were more general information about company and my expectations, then technical interviews consisting mainly of open ended questions focusing on solution design with a lot of room to explain my thinking process. Communication was quick and the whole process took about a week from the first interview to receiving an offer.
